We deserve the Right to Thrive

Compassion creates opportunities for success for all.

We the people of the United States of America deserve a more perfect union.

My name is Danielle Cloyde. I believe that our government should be based upon compassion from our laws to our regulations, for the average person, not just the elite. Our social safety nets should be robust spring boards paid for through regulations on corporations and those that earn the most money in our nation. I am a proud American, who thinks that we can be better than we are. The rifts and divisions in our society took years to form, it will take hard work and dedication to heal them. I am up for that challenge. Are you?

My mission is based upon a lifetime of observation of a curious mind.

We are one of the wealthiest countries on the planet, our citizens deserve to benefit from that. The goal is for everyone to have the tools to thrive no matter their background. In order for that to happen we need better mental health for all. To do that we need to invest in all areas from education to environmentalism and everything in between.

This space is for me to share my thoughts with all of you, and for you to share your thoughts with me. So that we can achieve a better country for all of us.

To do this we will need leaders across America that believe in these same principles. Lets find those leaders together who can help this vision come to life and ensure their ability to win their races.

United we must stand.

From the ground up

Not just an Inclusive Approach

This work is a ground up approach to government. The idea is that by helping our most vulnerable populations thrive, everyone's lives will just get better. That we will only let people fall so far and that the line should be livable without worrying about where their next meal will come from, if they will be safe or if they can afford to see a doctor.

Community Empowerment

Let's talk. This is an open dialog. I believe that strong communities are the basis for great mental health, and that those communities should be diverse and interconnected so that everyone has someone that they can lean on and grow with. Our diversity makes us strong, it's the thing that allows this country to overcome any obstacle. Our diversity covers all socio economic classes, educations, locations, colors of our skin, religions, genders, sexualities, and ages. We are strong because of them. If we treat everyone with compassion and respect, we can only succeed in healing our beautiful country.

Seeking long term change.

My work goes beyond advocacy to long term sustainable solutions that will hopefully ensure that all Americans no matter their background will have the tools to thrive. The idea is a framework for us to build from that will encompass all the things that go into strong mental health, which it turns out is everything. We can't keep trying to play "whack-a-mole", we must address all of the factors at once in increments so that we build a truly supportive structure. What's more I think that we can have fun while doing this work. Communities enrich our lives and show us new ways that we can thrive and be happy.
